Tell us about your approach to dealing with remote work on interior design projects.
Today, thanks to our long-term expertise in the field and the trust of our clients, the Bolshakova Interiors team works mostly remotely. We don’t need to be overseen at every step and can anticipate all the next stages.
We have projects in France, Cyprus, and the UK. When conducting the author’s supervision, we visit the construction site at least once a month. With technological advancement, we can effectively coordinate most processes remotely without any loss of quality.
While online communication can never fully replace physical meetings, we make every effort to ensure the smooth progress of the project and interaction with all participants.
What types of projects would you like to implement?
We specialize in residential development projects designed for personal use or as an investment project, when you need to renovate a property with modern interior design to increase its market value. Projects like Renaissance Apartment and Private Residence at Roquebrune-Cap-Martin serve as examples of the commercial projects we undertake for our clients.
Where do you look for inspiration?
I find my inspiration in fascinating clients, their dreams, and their success stories. I take pleasure in helping them to create their living spaces where they can rejuvenate and truly be themselves. Additionally, I draw inspiration from the unique project locations and implement new concepts into my projects.
How do your life experiences influence your work?
Our roots are essential in shaping how we express ourselves: the so-called ‘genetic code’ embedded in each location, the knowledge about life, family, and values. Nowadays, for many, it has become a “new normal” to start a business, get an education, or simply embrace new cultures in a new country.
Unfortunately, sometimes people are forced to change their homes due to war, like it is happening now to Ukrainians. In Bolshakova Interiors, we are all influenced by the tragedy in our homeland. Having this life experience for ourselves, we deeply understand how to create a feeling of ‘home’ in a new place without sacrificing individuality.
Your family’s home is not always where you or your kids were born; it is where every detail reflects you, corresponds to your unique rituals.
